We have a laminated panel of Padmashali vamsavruksham given away by Shree Madahobila Ahilabharata Padmashaliya Nityannadana samgham, Ahobilam, No year mentioned but there's contact no. stated against for copies..
I have a question, here in this panel of Vamsavruksham we have it is shown as the fore father/ancestor as "Dhata Maharushi" but u have shown as it is "Vidhata Maharushi".
Thanks for your curiosity in knowing the Padmashali Vamsha Vrikshma.
According to the information I have, please note the following:
1. Dhaatha Mararishi and Vidhaatha Maharishi married the daughters of Meru Maharishi, Aaayathi and Niyathi.
2. Praanudu is the son of Dhaatha and Aayathi.
3. Mrukandudu is the son of Vidhaatha and Niyathi.
4. So Vidhaatha Maharishi and his son Mrukanda Maharishi are our forefathers.
I hope, I have given clarification to your doubt. You may please check this information given by "Chenethodhyama Pithamaha" Sri Guntaka Narasayya Panthulu garu.

Many people who do not know their actual Gothra of Padmashali, will use their Gothra as Markandeya (Please refer the above Vamsha Vriksham where you will find our Gothras as 100 Markandeyulu). The stalwarts can explain this on this platform, as I am not sure of this.

Same surnames are there in different castes. We need not bother about this. The best principle is: just follow what your forefathers followed. All the best.
